Round 10 Match Report - U10
Drummoyne vs Eastern Blues
In the muddy damp conditions the boys played hard against the Eastern Blues under 10s.
The team were on the boil this week displaying a number of brilliant marks taken in the centre and in the defence lines.
It proved to be a bit of an ‘M and M’ game with new player to our team, Marcus, showing he was made of stern stuff as he ploughed through the centre half and blocked his opposing number path.
Michael had a cracked of a game, scoring two 6 pointers and two behinds for the under 10s Powers and also pushing hard in the packs. Great work also from Jack Favero who scored our other behind.
Highlights of the game were the long kicks and great punts, as the team worked the ball from one end of the field toward their scoring goal posts. Angus was on fire in the centre and Lindon showed style with his great attempts at hand balls. All in all it was one of our most exciting games of the season.
