Round 12 Match Report - U9 Silver
Under 9s Silver V Concord
The weather Gods were on our side today and kept the rain away thankfully but provided a good playing surface for the boys to enjoy their footy.
I thoroughly enjoy watching these kids and the way they get around the park and the skills they display.
George again showed that he has been playing for some time as he had another strong game along with Luke and Zac did well at getting the ball out of the DANGER ZONE as did all who had their time playing in the backline. Luke held onto some great marks while Zac’s speed had the ball cleared in no time.
James stayed on his man all day and was clearly putting his man off. Logan is showing improvement every week and seems to be enjoying being out there. Both Ryan and Harry showed their evasive skills at clearing the ball from the backline.
Concord could get down there but we showed them they will have to work a bit harder if they are going to score goals! So well done boys! Brendan, Nick and Lachlan combined well as did Bryson and Joshua to give a good balance all over the park
Goals today were kicked by George who banged 2 over while Joshua, Brendan, Luke, Zac and Nick all kicking a goal each thanks to the lead up work of our backs and centres.
Again boys, enjoying watching you play and seeing you all improve from week to week.
There were so many good players out there today which made my choice not an easy one but congratulations to Luke who was my "MAN OF THE MATCH" today closely followed by Zac who was also a handful for the opposition.
