Round 15 Match Report - U5/6s
Under 5/6s vs Maroubra
The last game of the season was held at Heffron Park Maroubra. Pleasant weather was a welcome change and 10 U5/6s excitedly took the field in 2 separate games. Splitting in to two games allowed all players to get a lot more kicks and ball touches than normal. There were a lot of goals but most importantly the skill levels of all players continues to improve.
After the games all players were disappointed it was the last game of the year but also excited about the prospect of playing again next year.
All the players took the chance to thank Coach Clint who has been fantastic in developing the team’s skills and passion for the game. Thanks very much Clint.
Special mention also to Adrian Walton who has been a great support to Clint and provided a lot of organizational and coaching support.
Congratulations to all players and parents for the wonderful effort throughout the season. We look forward to getting together again at the Sept 3 function, presentation day and hopefully we see everyone again next season.
