Round 9 Match Report - U9 Silver
Drummoyne Under 9’s Silver V’s Maroubra Saints
Harry and Ryan were consistently involved in the mix of play in the first third with Saints driving the ball hard. In the second third, the team started to fight harder for the ball with good ball handling from Luke and tackling from Logan, Lachlan and Bryson. Passing between players improved with a great passage of play that involved a succession of 4 passes. Zac also had a good run from the centre to the forward line.
The whole team got involved in the final third. Both George and James showed persistence on the forward line that resulted in goal kicks for both. Josh created opportunities by breaking into the open while Josh P scored a great goal from a sliding position. Nick made a timely pass that resulted in a goal. Brendon did a great job of holding back the Saints forward line.
Overall, a great team effort against the Saints! A very enjoyable game to watch by friends and family.
